The Quick Way To Pay Less Tax This Year

Here's a quick way to pay less tax this year:

• Email or call your accountant and ask them to do a 2020 Tax Projection.
• And then ask, "are there any tax strategies, or tax-planning ideas, that could help reduce the amount of tax that I pay this year, in 2020?"

If they ask, "what do you have in mind?" then say, "I was kind of hoping that you'd tell me."

And if they make you feel kind of silly or make you feel dumb, don't be surprised because most accountants are not up to date on the latest tax-planning strategies for business owners.

So, if you feel that way, or if you don't like the answer that you got, then ask your friends, who are business owners, if they like their accountant and if they do tax planning and then talk to that accountant. Ask them to review your last year's return, or last few years' returns, and ask for any tax-planning opportunities that they can think of.
